This year will mark our first year of homeschooling. We will be doing pre k homeschool with our oldest to ensure he is prepared for kindergarten next year. Even though we are doing pre k at home this year we haven’t decided whether or not to continue homeschooling past that point. There was time when we had decided to definitely homeschool, but as the day has drawn near there has been some wavering on that decision. I’ve just been praying about it and leaving it with the Lord. He knows our specific situation and I know he is faithful to provide an answer.
In the mean time I have been getting supplies together for our school year and gathering information on the local schools that could be viable options for us. Either way we will be prepared. In getting things together I came across this AMAZING bargain and I just had to share it since I really am blown away with how much I saved!
Of course we love coloring and painting here in our house and in preparing for the school year I wanted to get an easel to make painting easier for our oldest munchie. So in my quest to acquire an easel I was a little shocked by how expensive they are and had come to the conclusion that we would just have to wait. WELL… that all changed when I came across this little beauty!!!… for $14.99!
What a find! Once again IKEA comes through with a functional, inexpensive alternative to what I was looking for. Before finding this one from IKEA the least expensive one I could find was a Melissa & Doug easel through Amazon for $58.99. Prior to that I found this one at the local school supplier for $149.00 and that was their inexpensive model! So you will understand my excitement when I found the IKEA easel priced at $14.99! I am beyond jazzed! A $44 – $134 savings! I am hoping you will be as excited about this as me 🙂 ! Get ready for your munchkins to have hours of fun!
Have you found any great bargains lately or have any suggestions for saving money on back to school?
